The Half Decent Scale (HDS) is a compact, connected tool for espresso precision. With BLE, USB, and Wi-Fi connectivity, it integrates directly into your DE1 app to stop espresso shots at exactly your target weight.

How it works:

Ultra-simple user interface

Just two buttons: The circular button turns the scale on and zeroes the weight. The square button turns the timer on/off.

Flexible power options

Use the built-in rechargeable battery or plug into an AC power outlet with USB. The scale automatically turns on - and stays on - with AC power.

Works with all Decent Espresso machines

Connects to the DE1 app so you can set additional weight-based features. Espresso shots will automatically stop at your specified in-cup weight.

Dimensions

Wide enough to weigh two cups at once: 14mm (height) x 103mm (depth) x 158mm (width). The slim profile is slightly thinner than the popular Acaia scales and fits into a drip tray.
